Design

I design to challenge extraction and prioritize care, justice, and collective flourishing.

My work bridges UX/UI design with technology ethics, translating critical theory into functional interfaces and systems.

Selected work

Molo — Civic News & Events Platform

BREMEN, DE · 2023—2026

Led UX/UI design for a €1.5M BMBF-funded civic media app at ZeMKI, University of Bremen. Through co-design workshops with citizens, I built a platform that makes community-driven news accessible and participatory. Centered on trust, accessibility, and diverse engagement in digital urban publics. The project wrapped in 2026.

FREIBURG, DE · 2023—2024

Built complete digital presence and brand identity for a sustainability-driven startup. Designed landing pages that increased leads by 54%, establishing visual systems that communicated environmental values through accessible, engaging design.

ERC Research Project Visual Identity

İSTANBUL, TR · 2021—2022

Created website and comprehensive visual identity for the ERC-funded "Staging National Abjection" project, merging design with ethnographic research to support interdisciplinary academic work.

Approach

I use participatory methods — co-design workshops, user research, journey mapping — to ensure platforms reflect the values and needs of the communities they serve, not just the assumptions of their builders.

My design process questions whose perspectives get centered, what gets made invisible, and how interfaces encode power.
